Eye Creams For Dark Circles
Will anything get rid of undereye circles?
There are about a million different eye creams on the market today. It’s understandable that women are confused as to which is the best eye cream for dark circles and the best cream for puffiness. The truth is that there is nothing that will completely get rid of under eye circles; no matter what the advertising says.
What causes undereye circles?
Dark circles occur because of blood vessels under the thin under eye skin. Some women have thinner undereye skin that others and that is why their circles appear to be worse. Some women have darker circles because of a specific ethnic background and yet others have them simply because they didn’t get enough sleep.
Whatever your reason for puffiness and circles, don’t think a cream is going to cure all. This is not to say that under eye creams are worthless. As a matter of fact they are quite good for the skin.
Delicate undereye skin is subject to a lot of abuse from makeup and the elements. Constant movement of this tissue; smiling, winking, squinting, laughing; also causes wrinkles and crows feet. Using eye creams can help hold off the effects of aging, sun damage, and other factors.
What is the best treatment for dark circles?
The best treatment for eye concerns is a good undereye moisturizer; some dark circle creams are great moisturizers; a lot of sleep, and a great concealer. Find a good eye cream for your skin type. If you’ve got oily skin, go with a gel moisturizer or dark circle treatment. If you have dry skin, try a creamier treatment.
Moisturize the undereye area morning and night. Sometimes people with oily skin think they don’t need to moisturize, but, once they hit forty or so, they realize they were wrong. Don’t wait until it is too late to take care of your undereye area.
If you are going to use an eye cream for dark circles because you are convinced they will work, you will need to invest some time and money into your effort to find the right one. There are instances in which eye creams for dark circles will work. These creams work best for women whose problem is not caused by very thin skin. But it’s going to take some experimenting to find if one of them is going to work for you.
Make sure that you purchase your undereye cream from a source that will allow you to return the product and get a refund if it doesn’t work for you. You don’t want a drawer full of useless eye creams. And don’t forget to return it before the manufacturer’s deadline. I can’t tell you how many products I’ve been stuck with because I’ve failed to return them on time.
