Do You Use Eye Make Up Remover?
Removing Eye Makeup Is A Must. Invest the few minutes every evening to remove all of your makeup before bed
Far too many women neglect to remove their eye makeup before going to bed each night. Most women say they are just too tired to take the time. But it is very important to invest the few minutes every evening to remove all of your makeup before bed.
The best eye make up remover is one with a gentle, oil free formula. Some removers even come complete with pads soaked in the solution to make it easy for everyone. With all of this convenience, there’s no reason not to take a minute or two to remove all of your makeup.
Failing to remove all of your makeup before bed can cause your pores to clog and your skin to become dull. Nighttime is your skin’s time to refresh itself from the long day that it had and the exposure that it suffered from outside influences like sun and makeup. There is no such thing as makeup that is totally good for your skin, so get it off of your skin every night and give your skin a break.
Is There A Difference In Eye Makeup Removers?
I’ve tried many different eye makeup removers. A few of my favorites are Almay eye make up remover, Estee Lauder gentle eye makeup remover, and H2O Eye Make-up Remover. I’m a bit partial to Estee Lauder products, but I find that they don’t have the best remover for taking off waterproof products. You know what kind of makeup you use, so make sure that you match your makeup remover to the type of products you prefer.
I generally recommend that you use a makeup remover and then cleanse your face afterward. This will make sure that you have removed all traces of makeup from your face. After cleansing, make sure that you follow up with a good moisturizer and eye cream.
Should I Use A Separate Formula For Face And Eyes?
I personally prefer to use a separate eye make up remover because I find that the removers that are specifically made for eye makeup work better. This is why I will use Estee Lauder eye makeup remover for my eyes and something else for the rest of my face. Even if you just cleanse your face without using a makeup remover, invest in an eye makeup remover because you shouldn’t be using facial cleansers on the delicate eye area.
I also suggest using super sized cotton balls for removing eye makeup. Unless you use the pre-soaked pads which are tougher than regular cotton pads, which tend to fall apart. Super size cotton balls; don’t be cheap and buy the synthetic ones; are just the right size and shape for removing eye makeup and facial makeup.
Remember to buy the formula that’s right for the kind of makeup you use. If you use waterproof eye makeup, be sure to buy a waterproof eye makeup remover. These formulas are made especially for doing a certain job. If you have sensitive skin, go for a gentle formula. And if you are one of those lucky people who don’t have any skin issues, you can try just about anything.
